Revolut has strengthened its collaboration with Google Cloud through a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal aimed at supporting its ambition to reach more than 100 million customers worldwide, reports PaySpace Magazine.

The agreement extends Google Cloud’s infrastructure across every layer of Revolut’s operations—from core back-end systems to its customer-facing app. Beyond infrastructure, Revolut will also gain access to advanced AI and machine learning tools, including Google’s Gemini models, enhancing fraud detection, personalization, and customer experience.

Google’s global network of data centers will ensure Revolut can maintain consistent performance and reliability as it scales into new markets. The fintech has already leveraged Google Cloud’s technology—such as Compute Engine, Cloud APIs, Cloud IAM, and incremental snapshot backups—to accelerate deployments, reduce backup times from 20 hours to just five minutes, and guarantee resilience during peak usage.

This strengthened partnership secures the foundation for Revolut’s continuous product innovation. Recently, the company has expanded into ATMs in Europe, launched new investment and savings tools, prepared mobile phone services in the UK and Germany, and deepened crypto integration by partnering with Lightspark to speed up Bitcoin transactions across Europe and the UK.
